§ 948.55. Leaving or storing a loaded firearm within the reach or easy access of a child.

948.55(1) (1) In this section, “child” means a person who has not attained the age of 14 years. 948.55(2) (2) Whoever recklessly stores or leaves a loaded firearm within the reach or easy access of a child is guilty of a Class A misdemeanor if all of the following occur: 948.55(2)(a) (a) A child obtains the firearm without the lawful permission of his or her parent or guardian or the person having charge of the child. 948.55(2)(b) (b) The child under par.
