§ 20.285. University of Wisconsin System.

There is appropriated to the board of regents of the University of Wisconsin System for the following programs: 20.285(1) (1) University education, research and public service. 20.285(1)(a) (a) General program operations. Biennially, the amounts in the schedule for the purpose of educational programs and related programs. The board of regents may not encumber amounts appropriated under this paragraph for groundwater research without the approval of the secretary of administration. No moneys may be expended from this appropriation for the purposes specified in par. (am) . 20.285(1)(am) (am) Electric energy derived from renewable resources. The amounts in the schedule for the premium cost incurred for the generation or purchase of electric energy derived from renewable resources under s. 16.75 (12) . 20.285(1)(ar) (ar) Freshwater collaborative. As a continuing appropriation, the amounts in the schedule to provide funding for a freshwater collaborative. 20.285(1)(b) (b) Tommy G. Thompson Center on Public Leadership. The amounts in the schedule for general program operations of the Tommy G. Thompson Center on Public Leadership. 20.285(1)(c) (c) Graduate psychiatric nursing education. The amounts in the schedule for the purposes specified in s. 36.25 (55) (a) . 20.285(1)(cj) (cj) Athletic facilities; principal and interest. The amounts in the schedule for principal and interest costs of University of Wisconsin-Madison intercollegiate athletic facilities. 20.285(1)(ck) (ck) Klotsche Center; principal and interest. The amounts in the schedule for principal and interest costs of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Klotsche Center. 20.285(1)(cL) (cL) Phoenix Sports Center and Athletic Field Complex; principal and interest. The amounts in the schedule for principal and interest costs of the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay Phoenix Sports Center and Athletic Field Complex. 20.285(1)(d) (d) Principal repayment and interest. A sum sufficient to do all of the following: 20.285(1)(d)1. 1. Reimburse s. 20.866 (1) (u) for the payment of principal and interest costs incurred in financing the acquisition, construction, development, enlargement, or improvement of university academic facilities. 20.285(1)(d)2. 2. Reimburse s. 20.866 (1) (u) for any amounts advanced to meet principal and interest costs on self-amortizing university facilities whenever the amount appropriated under par. (gj) is insufficient, as determined by the department of administration, to make such reimbursement. 20.285(1)(d)3. 3. Make payments under an agreement or ancillary arrangement entered into under s. 18.06 (8) (a) . 20.285(1)(e) (e) Grants to meet emergency financial need. As a continuing appropriation, the amounts in the schedule for distribution to institutions for purposes of making grants under s.
