§ 448.015. Definitions.
In this subchapter: 448.015(1b) (1b) “Anesthesiologist” means a physician who has completed a residency in anesthesiology approved by the American Board of Anesthesiology or the American Osteopathic Board of Anesthesiology, holds an unrestricted license, and is actively engaged in clinical practice. 448.015(1c) (1c) “Anesthesiologist assistant” means an individual licensed by the board to assist an anesthesiologist in the delivery of certain medical care with anesthesiologist supervision. 448.015(1d) (1d) “Board” means medical examining board. 448.015(1dm) (1dm) “Compact license” means an expedited license granted by the board pursuant to the interstate medical licensure compact under s.
