§ 48.195.060. Failure to timely file — Penalties.

Any insurer failing, without just cause, to timely file the corporate governance annual disclosure as required by this chapter is required, after notice and hearing under chapters 48.04 and 34.05 RCW, to pay a penalty of five hundred dollars for each day's delay, to be recovered by the commissioner and the penalty must be paid to the general fund of this state. The maximum penalty under this section is one hundred thousand dollars. The commissioner may reduce the penalty if the insurer demonstrates to the commissioner that the imposition of the penalty would constitute a financial hardship to the insurer.
