§ 3151. Definitions For the purposes of this chapter:

  • (1) “Council” means the Vermont Fire Service Training Council. (2) “Fire service” means activities related to fire prevention, investigation, or suppression,
    or fire-related rescue. (3) “Firefighter” means a member of a State, municipal, or county fire department or a
    privately organized fire department who is responsible for fire suppression, prevention,
