§ 1682. Rugs and carpets [Repealed effective January 1, 2026]

  • (a) A manufacturer, supplier, or distributor shall not manufacture, sell, offer for sale,
    distribute for sale, or distribute for use in this State a residential rug or carpet
    to which PFAS have been intentionally added in any amount. (b) This section shall not apply to the sale or resale of used products. (Added 2021, No. 36, § 3, eff.
