§ 13a-102. Definitions.
11-13a-102. Definitions.
As used in this chapter:
| (1) | "Controlling interest" means that one or more governmental entities collectively represent a majority of the board's voting power as outlined in the nonprofit corporation's governing documents. |

| (3) | "Governmental entity" means the state, a county, a municipality, a special district, a special service district, a school district, an institution of higher education, as defined in Section 53H-1-101, or any other political subdivision or administrative unit of the state. |
