§ WA.61.119. INTEREST IN CONTRACT OF NAVIGATION DISTRICT

INTEREST IN CONTRACT OF NAVIGATION DISTRICT. If the county judge, a county commissioner, a member of the board or the commission, or the engineer shall directly or indirectly become interested in a contract for work to be done by the district or in any fee paid by the district, which would allow him to receive any money consideration or other thing of value except in payment of services as provided by law, on conviction he shall be confined in jail for not less than six months nor more than one year.
