§ WA.60.022. ESTABLISHMENT OF EMPLOYEE CATASTROPHIC ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
ESTABLISHMENT OF EMPLOYEE CATASTROPHIC ASSISTANCE PROGRAM. (a) The commission or executive director of a district may establish a program in the district to allow an employee to voluntarily transfer time earned by the employee as sick leave or vacation leave to a district employee catastrophic assistance fund. (b) The commission or executive director of a district shall designate a person to administer the district assistance fund. (c) The commission or executive director of a district shall identify natural or man-made events classified as catastrophic for purposes of this subchapter. (d) The commission or executive director of a district may adopt rules and prescribe procedures and forms relating to the operation of the district assistance fund.
