§ WA.17.959. FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE ACCOUNT
FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE ACCOUNT. (a) The Texas Water Development Fund II water financial assistance account, referred to as the "financial assistance account," is an account established within the fund in the state treasury. Transfers shall be made from this account as provided by this subchapter. (b) The financial assistance account is composed of: (1) money and assets attributable to water financial assistance bonds designated by the board as issued for purposes described in Section 49-d-8 , Article III, Texas Constitution, other than for purposes described in Sections 17.957 and 17.958; (2) payments received under a bond enhancement agreement with respect to water financial assistance bonds designated by the board as issued for purposes described in Section 49-d-8 , Article III, Texas Constitution, other than for purposes described in Sections 17.957 and 17.958; (3) investment income earned on money on deposit in the financial assistance account; and (4) any other funds, regardless of their source, that the board directs be deposited to the credit of the financial assistance account. (c) Money on deposit in the financial assistance account may be used by the board for any one or more of the purposes described in Section 49-d-8 , Article III, Texas Constitution, other than for purposes described in Sections 17.957 and 17.958 , in the manner that the board determines necessary for the administration of the fund.
