§ WA.16.3535. DAMAGES
DAMAGES. In addition to any other remedy, the attorney general, the municipal attorney of the municipality in which a violation under Section 16.352 occurs, or the county or district attorney of the county in which a violation under Section 16.352 occurs may apply to a district court for, and the district court may grant, monetary damages to cover the cost of enforcing this subchapter, rules adopted under this subchapter, or Subchapter B or C, Chapter 232 , Local Government Code. Added by Acts 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 404, Sec. 36, eff. Sept. 1, 1999.
