§ WA.16.351. CONTRACT PREFERENCE

CONTRACT PREFERENCE. A political subdivision that receives financial assistance under Subchapter K , Chapter 17 , of this code shall give preference in the award of political subdivision contracts to acquire, construct, extend, or provide water supply and sewer services or facilities to a bidder that agrees to use labor from inside the political subdivision to the extent possible. Added by Acts 1989, 71st Leg., ch. 624, Sec. 2.13.
