§ UT.57.025. CHANGES IN RATE PROGRAM

CHANGES IN RATE PROGRAM. (a) An educational institution, library, or dominant carrier may request the commission to: (1) provide for a reduced rate for a service that: (A) is directly related to a distance learning activity or an information sharing program; and (B) is not covered by commission rules; (2) change a rate; (3) amend a tariff; or (4) amend a commission rule. (b) The commission shall take the action requested under Subsection (a) if the commission determines the action is appropriate. Acts 1997, 75th Leg., ch. 166, Sec. 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1997.
