§ TN.472.012. DEPARTMENT AUTHORITY GENERALLY
DEPARTMENT AUTHORITY GENERALLY. (a) The department may remove personal property from the right-of-way or roadway of the state highway system if the department determines the property blocks the roadway or endangers public safety. (b) The department may remove the personal property without the consent of the owner or carrier of the property. Acts 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 165, Sec. 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1995.
