§ TN.441.197. FEES
FEES. (a) A district may adopt and enforce fees in addition to taxes to provide the district revenue to operate the district and secure district bonds. (b) A district may file a suit to recover an unpaid fee under this section. The suit must be filed in a county in which the district is located. (c) Except as provided by Section 365.040 , a fee may not be imposed on or collected for travel on a road constructed, acquired, or improved by the district. (d) A road facility may not be encumbered by a district fee. Acts 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 165, Sec. 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1995.
