§ TN.393.0025. MUNICIPAL AUTHORITY TO REGULATE SIGN PLACEMENT
MUNICIPAL AUTHORITY TO REGULATE SIGN PLACEMENT. (a) A person may not place a sign on the right-of-way of a road or highway maintained by a municipality unless the placement is authorized by the municipality. (b) This section does not apply to the right-of-way of a road or highway in the state highway system. Added by Acts 1997, 75th Leg., ch. 1393, Sec. 2, eff. Sept. 1, 1997.
