§ TN.312.064. ASSESSMENT LIEN AND LIABILITY
ASSESSMENT LIEN AND LIABILITY. (a) An assessment under this subchapter is payable in not less than five equal, annual installments. (b) An assessment under this subchapter is a lien against the abutting property and is a personal liability of the owner of the abutting property. The assessment may not be construed as becoming due before the assessment is properly made in accordance with this subchapter. Acts 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 165, Sec. 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1995.
