§ TN.251.161. VIOLATIONS OF SUBCHAPTER
VIOLATIONS OF SUBCHAPTER; OFFENSE. (a) A person commits a misdemeanor offense if the person: (1) stops, stands, or parks a vehicle in violation of a restriction stated on a sign installed under Section 251.156 ; (2) defaces, injures, knocks down, or removes a sign or traffic control device installed under an order of the commissioners court of a county issued under this subchapter; (3) operates a motor vehicle in violation of an order of the commissioners court entered under this subchapter; or (4) otherwise violates this subchapter. (b) An offense under this section is punishable by a fine not to exceed $200. (c) If conduct that constitutes an offense under this section also constitutes an offense under any other law, the actor may be prosecuted under this section or the other law.
