§ TN.225.243. VETERANS MEMORIAL HIGHWAY

VETERANS MEMORIAL HIGHWAY. (a) The portion of U.S. Highway 69 in Smith County between its intersection with South State Loop 323 and its intersection with the northern municipal limits of Bullard is designated as the Veterans Memorial Highway. The designation is in addition to any other designation. (b) Subject to Section 225.021 (c), the department shall: (1) design and construct markers indicating the designation as the Veterans Memorial Highway and any other appropriate information; and (2) erect a marker at each end of the highway and at appropriate intermediate sites along the highway. The designation is in addition to any other designation. (b) Subject to Section 225.021 (c), the department shall: (1) design and construct markers indicating the designation as the Camp County Vietnam Veterans Memorial Highway and any other appropriate information; and (2) erect a marker at each end of the highway and at appropriate intermediate sites along the highway. (b) Subject to Section 225.021 (c), the department shall: (1) design and construct markers indicating the designation as the Doug Pitcock Aggie Expressway and any other appropriate information; and (2) erect a marker at each end of the highway and at appropriate intermediate sites along the highway.
