§ OC.702.554. VIOLATION OF INJUNCTION
VIOLATION OF INJUNCTION. (a) The attorney general or a district or county attorney may file suit to recover a civil penalty against a person who violates an injunction issued under this subchapter in an amount not to exceed $25,000 for a single violation. If more than one civil penalty is assessed against the same person, the total amount of civil penalties assessed under this section may not exceed $50,000. (b) Venue for a suit filed under this section is in the district court that issued the injunction that is the subject of the civil penalty. Acts 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 388, Sec. 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1999.
