§ OC.1603.3002. RENEWAL RULES
RENEWAL RULES. (a) The commission by rule may establish requirements for the renewal of a license issued under this chapter, including continuing education requirements. (b) The commission may establish separate requirements for: (1) the initial renewal of a license; and (2) subsequent renewals of a license. (c) Before establishing continuing education requirements under this section, the commission must consider the potential impact of continuing education with respect to: (1) identifying and assisting trafficked persons; and (2) providing license holders with opportunities to acquire new skills. Added by Acts 2021, 87th Leg., R.S., Ch. 663 (H.B. 1560 ), Sec. 3.24, eff. September 1, 2021.
