§ OC.1071.503. CIVIL PENALTY
CIVIL PENALTY. (a) A person who violates this chapter or a rule adopted under this chapter is liable for a civil penalty not to exceed $1,500 for each violation. (b) At the request of the board, the attorney general shall bring an action to recover the civil penalty in the name of the state. (c) A civil penalty recovered under this section shall be deposited in the state treasury. Added by Acts 2001, 77th Leg., ch. 1421, Sec. 1, eff. June 1, 2003.
