§ LG.383.028. TEMPORARY DIRECTORS
TEMPORARY DIRECTORS; VACANCY IN OFFICE. (a) If the commissioners court grants the petition, it shall appoint to serve as temporary directors of the district five persons who are qualified under this chapter to serve as directors. (b) A vacancy in the office of temporary director shall be filled by appointment by the commissioners court. Added by Acts 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 995, Sec. 5, eff. Sept. 1, 1995. Renumbered from Tax Code Sec. 312.611 and amended by Acts 1997, 75th Leg., ch. 165, Sec. 23.05, eff. Sept. 1, 1997.
