§ LG.271.062. CERTAIN CONTRACTS NOT REQUIRED TO BE IN WRITING

CERTAIN CONTRACTS NOT REQUIRED TO BE IN WRITING. A contract executed under Section 271.054 or 271.056 is not required to be in writing if the work to be performed under the contract: (1) is legal services; (2) is to be done by the regular salaried employees of the issuer; or (3) is to be paid for as the work progresses. Acts 1987, 70th Leg., ch. 149, Sec. 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1987.
