§ IN.401.002. PURPOSE OF SUBCHAPTER
PURPOSE OF SUBCHAPTER. The purpose of this subchapter is to require an annual audit by an independent certified public accountant of the financial statements reporting the financial condition and the results of operations of each insurer or health maintenance organization. Added by Acts 2005, 79th Leg., Ch. 727 (H.B. 2017 ), Sec. 1, eff. April 1, 2007.
