§ HS.826.055. QUARANTINE OR IMPOUNDMENT FACILITY
QUARANTINE OR IMPOUNDMENT FACILITY; CRIMINAL PENALTY. (a) A person commits an offense if the person operates a facility for quarantined or impounded animals that fails to meet standards for approval established by: (1) department rules; or (2) ordinances or rules adopted under this chapter by a county or municipality. (b) An offense under this section is a Class C misdemeanor. Acts 1989, 71st Leg., ch. 678, Sec. 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1989. Amended by: Acts 2015, 84th Leg., R.S., Ch. 1 (S.B. 219 ), Sec. 3.1624, eff.
