§ HS.775.037. OFFICERS OF BOARD

OFFICERS OF BOARD. (a) The emergency services commissioners shall elect from among their members a president, vice-president, secretary, treasurer, and assistant treasurer to perform the duties usually required of the respective offices. The office of secretary and treasurer may be combined. (b) The treasurer must execute and file with the county clerk a bond conditioned on the faithful execution of the treasurer's duties. The treasurer of a district located in more than one county shall file the bond with the county clerk of the county with the largest population in the district. The county judge of the county in which the bond is to be filed must determine the amount and sufficiency of the bond before it is filed. Acts 1989, 71st Leg., ch. 678, Sec. 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1989.
