§ HS.771.056. SUBMISSION OF REGIONAL PLAN TO COMMISSION
SUBMISSION OF REGIONAL PLAN TO COMMISSION. (a) The regional planning commission shall submit a regional plan, or an amendment to the plan, to the commission for approval or disapproval. (b) In making its determination, the commission shall consider whether the plan or amendment satisfies the standards established by the commission under this chapter, the cost and effectiveness of the plan or amendment, and the appropriateness of the plan or amendment in the establishment of statewide 9-1-1 service. (c) The commission shall notify a regional planning commission of the approval or disapproval of the plan or amendment not later than the 90th day after the date the commission receives an administratively complete plan or amendment. If the commission disapproves the plan, it shall specify the reasons for disapproval and set a deadline for submission of a modified plan. (d) If the commission approves the plan, it shall allocate to the region from the money collected under Sections 771.071 , 771.0711 , and 771.072 and appropriated to the commission the amount that the commission considers appropriate to operate 9-1-1 service in the region according to the plan and contracts executed under Section 771.078 .
