§ HS.433.074. FINANCING
FINANCING. The department may spend state funds appropriated for administration of this chapter to pay 50 percent of the estimated total cost of cooperation with the federal government under this subchapter, and all of the costs of performing services in relation to the inspection of animals or products not regulated under the Federal Meat Inspection Act (21 U.S.C. Section 601 et seq.) or the Federal Poultry Products Inspection Act (21 U.S.C. Section 451 et seq.). Acts 1989, 71st Leg., ch. 678, Sec. 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1989.
