§ HS.361.977. TELEVISION RECYCLING ACCOUNT
TELEVISION RECYCLING ACCOUNT. (a) The television recycling account is an account in the general revenue fund that consists of the: (1) fees collected under Section 361.976 ; and (2) interest earned on the money in the account. (b) Money in the account may be appropriated only to the commission to be used by the commission to maintain a public Internet website and toll-free telephone number that provide consumers with information about covered television equipment recycling opportunities in this state. Added by Acts 2011, 82nd Leg., R.S., Ch. 605 (S.B. 329 ), Sec. 1, eff. September 1, 2011.
