§ HS.361.972. LEGISLATIVE FINDINGS AND PURPOSE

LEGISLATIVE FINDINGS AND PURPOSE. The purpose of this subchapter is to establish a comprehensive, convenient, and environmentally sound program for the collection and recycling of television equipment. The program is based on individual television manufacturer responsibility and shared responsibility among consumers, retailers, and the government of this state. Added by Acts 2011, 82nd Leg., R.S., Ch. 605 (S.B. 329 ), Sec. 1, eff. September 1, 2011.
