§ HS.361.908. LIAISON TO ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCY

LIAISON TO ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCY. A county that establishes a brownfield program may act as a liaison between an eligible owner, licensed professional engineer, or contractor and the Environmental Protection Agency to assist in obtaining a federal grant for an assessment or eligible site remediation under the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (42 U.S.C. Section 9601 et seq.). Added by Acts 2005, 79th Leg., Ch. 379 (S.B. 1413 ), Sec. 2, eff. September 1, 2005.
