§ HS.282.044. CONTRACTING AUTHORITY

CONTRACTING AUTHORITY. (a) In performing its powers under this subchapter the board may contract with: (1) the federal government; (2) this state; (3) a municipality; and (4) another hospital district. (b) The district may incur indebtedness or borrow money for district purposes on the credit of the district or secured by the revenues of a district hospital. (c) The district may contract with another community, corporation, or individual for services provided by the district. Acts 1989, 71st Leg., ch. 678, Sec. 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1989.
