§ HS.265.052. EMINENT DOMAIN
EMINENT DOMAIN. (a) The hospital board may acquire the fee simple title to or any other interest in land and other property by condemnation under Chapter 21 , Property Code, to carry out any power, duty, or function under this subchapter. (b) The board has the same rights as a county or municipality under Section 21.021 , Property Code. (c) The board shall determine the amount and character of the interest in land or other property to be acquired under this section. Acts 1989, 71st Leg., ch. 678, Sec. 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1989.
