§ HR.31.040. NONTRANSFERABILITY OF ASSISTANCE FUNDS
NONTRANSFERABILITY OF ASSISTANCE FUNDS. The right to financial assistance granted to recipients under this chapter may not be transferred or assigned at law or in equity, and the funds are not subject to execution, levy, attachment, garnishment, or other legal process or to the operation of an insolvency law. Acts 1979, 66th Leg., p. 2347, ch. 842, art. 1, Sec. 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1979.
