§ GV.81.030. GENERAL COUNSEL

GENERAL COUNSEL. (a) The board of directors, by a majority vote, elects the general counsel of the state bar. The general counsel holds office at the pleasure of the board. (b) The general counsel must be a member of the state bar. (c) The general counsel shall perform the duties usually expected of and performed by a general counsel. (d) The general counsel shall perform those duties delegated by the board of directors. Added by Acts 1987, 70th Leg., ch. 148, Sec. 3.01, eff. Sept. 1, 1987.
