§ GV.526.0056. PILOT PROGRAM TO PREVENT SPREAD OF INFECTIOUS OR COMMUNICABLE DISEASES

PILOT PROGRAM TO PREVENT SPREAD OF INFECTIOUS OR COMMUNICABLE DISEASES. The commission may provide guidance to the local health authority of Bexar County in establishing a pilot program funded by the county to prevent the spread of HIV, hepatitis B, hepatitis C, and other infectious and communicable diseases. The program may include a disease control program that provides for the anonymous exchange of used hypodermic needles and syringes. Added by Acts 2023, 88th Leg., R.S., Ch. 769 (H.B. 4611 ), Sec. 1.01, eff. April 1, 2025.
