§ GV.437.305. EMPLOYEES IN STATE GUARD

EMPLOYEES IN STATE GUARD; EMERGENCY LEAVE. A state employee called to state active duty as a member of the Texas State Guard by the governor or other appropriate authority in response to a natural or man-made disaster is entitled to receive paid emergency leave without loss of military leave under Section 437.202 or annual leave. Added by Acts 2013, 83rd Leg., R.S., Ch. 1217 (S.B. 1536 ), Sec. 1.01, eff. September 1, 2013.
