§ GV.404.092. DEFINITION

DEFINITION. In this subchapter, "state agency" means an office, institution, or other agency that is in the executive branch of state government, has authority that is not limited to a geographical portion of the state, and was created by the constitution or a statute of this state, but does not include an institution of higher education as defined by Section 61.003 , Education Code. Acts 1987, 70th Leg., ch. 147, Sec. 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1987.
