§ GV.301.002. WHO MAY ORGANIZE

WHO MAY ORGANIZE. (a) The following individuals only may organize the senate: (1) senators who have not completed their terms of office; and (2) individuals who have received certification of election to the senate. (b) Only the individuals who have received certification of election to the house of representatives may organize the house of representatives. Acts 1985, 69th Leg., ch. 479, Sec. 1, eff.
