§ GV.2306.076. INSURANCE
INSURANCE. (a) The board may purchase from department funds liability insurance for the director, board members, officers, and employees of the department. (b) The board may purchase the insurance in an amount the board considers reasonably necessary to: (1) insure against reasonably foreseeable liabilities; and (2) provide for all costs of defending against those liabilities, including court costs and attorney's fees. Added by Acts 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 76, Sec. 5.66(c), eff. Sept. 1, 1995. Amended by Acts 1997, 75th Leg., ch. 980, Sec. 17, eff. Sept. 1, 1997.
