§ GV.1509.153. AUTHORITY TO ISSUE BONDS
AUTHORITY TO ISSUE BONDS. If necessary to exercise the authority granted by Section 1509.152 , the governing body of a municipality may issue and sell bonds to finance: (1) the purchase, lease, or acquisition by another method of land, a facility, equipment, or supplies; (2) the construction or improvement of a facility; and (3) the installation of equipment. Added by Acts 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 227, Sec. 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1999.
