§ GV.1201.023. UNCERTIFICATED BOOK-ENTRY ISSUANCE
UNCERTIFICATED BOOK-ENTRY ISSUANCE. (a) The governing body of an issuer may provide for a book-entry record of ownership of a public security issued by the issuer. A public security may be issued in uncertificated book-entry form. (b) The record of ownership of a public security issued in uncertificated book-entry form may be kept by the issuer or an agent of the issuer. Added by Acts 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 227, Sec. 1, eff.
