§ FI.347.301. FEES FOR TRANSACTIONS WITHOUT REAL PROPERTY

FEES FOR TRANSACTIONS WITHOUT REAL PROPERTY. (a) This section applies only to a credit transaction that does not involve real property. (b) Only a fee or tax that is paid by the creditor as required by law, including a rule, or a fee or tax paid on behalf of the consumer to a governmental entity in relation to the credit transaction may be charged to the consumer. (c) A documentary fee for the preparation of a credit document may not be charged to the consumer. Acts 1997, 75th Leg., ch. 1008, Sec. 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1997.
