§ FI.345.303. PAYMENT BY BUYER

PAYMENT BY BUYER. Unless a retail buyer has notice of the assignment or negotiation of the buyer's retail installment contract or retail charge agreement or an outstanding balance under the contract or agreement, a payment by the buyer to the holder last known to the buyer is binding on all subsequent holders.
