§ EL.172.124. REPORTING PRECINCT RESULTS TO SECRETARY OF STATE RELATING TO CANDIDATES WHO FILED
REPORTING PRECINCT RESULTS TO SECRETARY OF STATE RELATING TO CANDIDATES WHO FILED AN APPLICATION FOR A PLACE ON THE BALLOT IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE GENERAL REQUIREMENTS. Applies to elections ordered before the date the Secretary of State issues the report required by Acts 2025, 89th Leg., R.S., Ch. 1184 (S.B. 2753 ), Sec. 32, eff. September 1, 2025. (a) For each primary election, the county clerk shall prepare a report of the number of votes, including early voting votes, received in each county election precinct by each candidate for an office, other than a party office, as provided by Section 67.017 for the report of precinct results for a general election. (b) The county clerk shall deliver the report to the secretary of state not later than the 30th day after primary election day. (c) Except as otherwise provided by this section, the report is subject to the requirements prescribed by Section 67.017 for the report prepared for a general election.
