§ ED.88.110. PURCHASE OF LAND FOR SEEDLING NURSERY
PURCHASE OF LAND FOR SEEDLING NURSERY. The board may acquire by purchase in the name of the State of Texas for the use and benefit of the Texas Forest Service, and may improve, a sufficient quantity of land suitable for the operation of a forest tree seedling nursery in the reforestation program of the Texas Forest Service and for the production of other forest products. However, not more than 400 acres of land may be purchased under this section; and the selling price of seedlings produced on the land, as far as practical, shall represent the cost of production plus at least 10 percent.
