§ ED.61.503. RULES AND REGULATIONS

RULES AND REGULATIONS. The board shall adopt rules and regulations to implement this subchapter, including rules providing for: (1) prior consultation on the annual budget with the board; (2) a postaudit in a manner acceptable to the state auditor of expenditures related to the residency training program of a medical school, licensed hospitals, or nonprofit corporations with which the board has contracted; and (3) distribution of family physicians and improvement of medical care in underserved urban and rural areas of the state and, insofar as possible and prudent, encouraging the permanent location in underserved areas of family physicians trained in these programs.
