§ ED.47.002. FUND ESTABLISHED
FUND ESTABLISHED. (a) The tax reduction and excellence in education fund is a special fund in the state treasury outside the general revenue fund. (b) The fund consists of: (1) money appropriated by the legislature for deposit to the credit of the fund; (2) gifts to the state for the purposes of the fund; and (3) money directed by law for deposit to the credit of the fund. Added by Acts 2019, 86th Leg., R.S., Ch. 943 (H.B. 3 ), Sec. 1.010, eff. January 1, 2020.
