§ ED.30.004. INFORMATION CONCERNING PROGRAMS

INFORMATION CONCERNING PROGRAMS. (a) Each school district shall provide each parent or other person having lawful control of a student with written information about: (1) the availability of programs offered by state institutions for which the district's students may be eligible; (2) the eligibility requirements and admission conditions imposed by each of those state institutions; and (3) the rights of students in regard to admission to those state institutions and in regard to appeal of admission decisions. (b) The commissioner shall adopt rules prescribing the form and content of information required by Subsection (a). Added by Acts 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 260, Sec. 1, eff. May 30, 1995.
